It’s been a bit. I’ve fallen off tracking my food, although usually I eat the same things every day, so I know where I’m sitting as far as calories.

I got clearance from my doctor yesterday to go ahead with the surrogacy. I thought that was the last thing I needed before the agency took over, but turns out I must have misunderstood when I initially talked to my Surrogate Intake Coordinator. Apparently it’s a requirement, not just a suggestion, that I be at a 32 BMI. So I have a few more pounds to go before I can get this moving. I’m devastated honestly. It took me all summer to lose just 10 pounds and I’m not sure I can lose another 10, I’ve seemed to plateau.

So I’ve come up with a plan to drop these pounds quickly. It’s definitely not healthy, and I’m sure I can’t maintain it, but I just want to get started on all this. So new plan is drink lots of water, yogurt with fruit for breakfast, then grilled chicken for lunch and dinner, then walk as much as I can. At the end of the week, I’ll see where I’m at, and if there are a few more pounds to go, I’ll do a water fast and try going to a dry sauna to get rid of the water weight, then weigh in the next morning. I’m aware that as soon as I drink water again, I’ll gain it all back, but I still plan on eating healthy and hopefully dropping those pounds for real before they fly me out to Oregon.

Currently I’m really hungry and upset, but I’m hoping I can get over the disappointment and knock out these last 10 pounds. I feel bad for my husband, I’m not a nice person when I’m hungry.
