Hi, I am starting Atkins on Monday, I need to loose about 110 poounds or so, any tips that really helped you?

This month I *celebrate* 2 years of the Atkin's lifesyle -- with a total loss of just under 100lbs. My best advice is just stick to it! Give it time and you'll see results BUT best of all, you'll feel like a new person. Best of wishes as you embark on this change :)

Stick to it like GigiP said. Also, don't become reliant on the bars and diet pop and diet products. These are weight loss stoppers. Do enjoy meat, eggs, cheese, veggies allowed, butter, olive oil, and coconut oil. I make a salad dressing that is really good 2 parts olive oil, 1 part raspberry vinegar, and 1/2 tsp xylitol and a couple drops of liquid stevia. Both xylitol and stevia are considered natural products not artificial sweeteners. I even use these sparingly. Chia is a new discovery of mine and is loaded with fiber and antioxidents. I am starting over again as I let myself get deluded with diet products and sugar/high carb items. You can do this....find your own way. Low carb makes you feel great and you can make this work to be healthier and happier.
