I work full time at a doctors office and fill my "free" time with being Youth and Children's Coordinator at our church, my roses, my family. I love to watch movies, reas books, camp, and be outdoors.

Hi, I have PCOS also and let me tell you, after being on Atkins for 3 weeks I am feeling so much better. I am not bloated all the time and I don't feel like I am going to shut down after I eat a meal. If you haven't already, read up on Insulin Resistance and see if you also have those syptoms and if you do consider a better carb lifestyle. feel free to ask me anything!

Is it absolutley necessary to eat 20G of net carbs a day?
Brit, I hear ya, I just started myself and I am some days only getting 14 and no they aren't mostly from veggies. I am having to navigate this daily. I don't like ALOT of vegetables so it is very hard for me. I am trying to add more in but it's hard. I do not think it is necessary to hit 20. I think it is more important to just be under 21! not sure that was helpful but good luck!
