Waiting for my new activity watch to arrive - very exciting as its waterproof so I can check heart rate whilst swimming. Half an hour walk this morning so keeping up the extra walking time. Maybe do another after lunch. Two grandsons are coming for lunch so must be careful to count calories correctly.

HRM was such good support when I was very active, gave me "permission " to warm up slowly. We didn't have waterproof ones back then; please report on how your pool one works!

I'm afraid the programming completed eluded me, it didn't always record steps as I expected and couldn't even get to the pool programme so I have reluctantly returned it. I'm considering getting something more expensive but it will have to be explained to me before purchase, so it means going to town.

Pool Fitbit works really well, records the number of lengths swum, having set the length of the pool. It shows the calories burned a minute and the time taken for the swim and also how long it takes to swim 100m. I'm well pleased and combined with the Charge 2 am getting lots of exercise.
