Seven times at the gym! New record for 1.5 weeks! I met with a trainer last night who "took it easy on me" since she needed to evaluate where I am at physically...I could have told her that! Non-existant! =P She took my measurements which was scary but it will be good to see the changes that happen other than weightloss! She had me do push-ups, sit-ups and hold a plank to evaluate me. Push-ups were pretty pathetic but I think I did 20. I held the plank for 37 seconds which was decent. BUT! When I tried to do a full sit-up, it wasn't happening! LOL I could barely get up! So, she let me do crunches...very nice of her, huh?? She kept telling me the other sessions wouldn't be this easy since she did not know my capabilities. It's ok as long as I can still walk the next day! I think I'll Like Jill. She likes to talk so it's a good distraction except when I am trying to balance! She did have me weigh-in and it was 196.6 which is down from 200 from the first Saturday I was there which was on 3/3. Yea!! I can already tell some of my pants are fitting bigger. I know! It's probably all psychological at this point! ha! But I'll take it if it means I keep going with this!

I do have a little extra motivation...I just think of my brother and the things he is unable to do and the freedoms he is no longer allowed. If I have the opportunities, I need to take them because I never know when they could get taken away from me! I'm also turning 40 in less than 3 months and I need to make some major changes if I want to make sure I bring in future birthdays being the best I can be! No more settling!!

My diet has been going really well but it has also been a pretty controlled environment and I have been able to plan. Saturday was probably my biggest challenge but I made sure I had all my fruits and veggies in before going out that night. Luckily, I had a lot of activity points so I never felt like I was being deprived or couldn't enjoy myself. Jeff and I went to Applebee's and and I didn't want to get a big meal since I knew we would be drinking so we split an appetizer combo and I had the Wonton Chicken Tacos and we shared the queso dip. I know...not the greatest choices but the servings were smaller than normal and I did not eat it all! I enjoyed the flavor but controlled myself. It's not like I could never order the stuff again, right??? I did drink quite a few beers but I kept fairly good track and when I felt like I was done, I stopped. I didn't even use all of my WPs and I had a great night!

As long as I keep my mind in the right place, I will succeed! What is that right place?? It's the place where I remind myself to live for me and to never think that I will fail. If there is a hiccup in the road to success (I know they'll happen!), I just need to get right back up and keep moving!
