Just wanna say I am proud of myself. Today was my first day back on my woe and back at my normal micro intake. Under 50 carbs. Almost got my protein and fats in but most importantly I hit my fiber goal. I will not let anyone tell me to eat more calories than what I need. Keeping everything the same and will succeed in my loses. And will also get the 2.6 or what ever the .00 was down and lose some more. Everyone we can do this. Keep your head in the game. Do what works for you and you will succeed. Don't let anyone tell you how you should eat. Have a wonderful rest of the night and I hope to see all y'alls amazing posts.

Don't let anyone tell you how you should eat...........words to live by.........I will say that to myself every morning......... I find I will be having dinner with a friend and let that person talk me into ordering more than I want....... Thanks I needed that....

You are so welcome. I needed to hear the words too. I let everyone decide for me and I need to decide for myself. Bad things happen when I let other people take control. Glad I could help. :)

Happy to see you in good mood 😘 good point there - don't let other people take over control, especially when it comes to your emotional well-being

Exactly. I'm back on track and proud. Just need to get my water levels up and work on eating 5 times a day to keep my metabolism up instead of the normal 3 times. All will come in time. What goals does everyone else have? I'd love to hear. :)

I would like to not be tired all the time and have my physical energy back. I want to be close to 140 and be able to stay within a 6 pound range again. I can't even look at myself in the mirror and not cringe right now--I want to be able to do that. I want to look good in any dress I should choose to wear.

You are so close and I know you can do it. Almost there and you will be home free. :) we can do this.

Thank you very much. Two weeks ago dr office/nutritionist said I wasn't consuming enough calories... I was doing great; in ketosis, no cravings, no hunger. Thinking she knows best, I increased caloric intact and I have lost an ounce of weight since. Going back to what I was doing prior to her advice. Let's see what happens. From now on I'm doing what is working for me.

Yes. Some people feel we lose too much weight too fast but the recommendation is 2 pounds per week. If I am in fact losing that amount or lower then I think I'm doing fine. Yes I do agree that you can starve your body but at 1,100 calories I don't think that would be starving. Maybe going below a thousand would be. My thing is if you aren't with me on a daily basis then you have no business whatsoever telling me how much/ how little I should eat. I know that is a little harsh. I also think that people shouldn't push diets on others. Like I'm doing low carb, I'm not going to push that on someone else. Got a bit off topic here but I think we get the jist. Lol

I agree, Emilygu! I've found an unfortunate pattern in telling people about my weight loss... they all want to know how I've dropped the weight, and when I tell them it's low-carbing, they smirk or say "ooh" in a disappointed way or otherwise point out that it's unhealthy, unrealistic, guaranteed to fail, etc. Don't know why people feel the need to say those things but they do... and of course there's the "oh I did low carb, it didn't work" response I get, which baffles me. But oh well... I don't know why these people are so negative and get pushy, telling me to "just eat this" when giving me cookies and junk, but I just shrug and go on. I've not asking anyone else to do the diet with me, I'm just doing it to feel better... I don't know why others around me seem more put-off than supportive but oh well :-)

Well said, it's your journey after all, do what's right for you

That is exactly right bottledgirl. I've had so many people say well that won't be long term and when you get off you'll just gain all the weight back. Yes I fall of the wagon but I'm not planning on getting off the low carb way. Yeah I can enjoy a peice of a brownie or a cookie but I can't have it all the time.
