You cannot judge nor measure the quality or healthiness of a foodstuff by quoting/referencing its carb content alone, it is meaningless...snakeyjanes goal is to try to generally consume gluten free and low GI food stuff, so this bar, filling both those requirements, fits in with her plan and current lifestyle choices, and maybe she was unable to grab some real fruit or nuts or similar and keeps this handy for such moments, who knows, and maybe her past choices were a chocolate bar or potato chips/crisps, so this would be classed as an improvement...She is clearly losing weight, so 'it' works for her...so 'healthy' can be considered somewhat relative in this case...

The ingredients in this bar are are dried fruit and seeds! That's it! Dried fruit is high in carbs, but also in antioxidants and fiber. It's fine in moderation. And misterbee is spot on: this was a mid-afternoon slump emergency snack. :)

Sorry SJ. This might be a good fit for you. I'm diabetic so I'm trying to keep sugars at or near 0. It is better than a lot of so called heathy food options out there.

No need to apologize! I was just sharing what informed my decision to eat this snack. You do you :)
