1st time coming back here in awhile. I have been trying unsuccessfully for a year now to lose weight by simply cutting down sugar and portions. This has not worked. I havent gained - but I havent lost anything.
So now I am coming back here to help myself stay accountable as I try this new Keto style diet where you eat virtually no carbs (suggest no more than 20grams) and low sugar. I have not jumped in hard core, I am still allowing more than 20 grams of carbs because I dont want to get the negative side effects from the drastic change. So far I think it is helping, the number on the scale has moved just slightly in 1 week.. so we will see.
