Well, the past 8 days had some highs and some lows.
The lows were out of my control and really slowed my weight loss. Evidently, my new fitness plan has made my body a bit confused and thus my period was late and I had horrible cramps and bloating leading up to it. This brought my weight loss to a stop!
The highs outweigh the lows though. Even with PMS from hell, I made it to the gym 5 times last week and 3 times already this week (I'm still hoping to get in a session today). In the end, my period finally arrived and I've already gotten back to my pre-period weight and lost .2 lb.
The best high is that I weighed in at Gold's and found out that since the challenge has begun I have lost 10 lbs and 2.1% body fat!!!! I'm so excited!!! My trainer says that's a great result for 4 weeks.
I can't wait to see what happens once my stupid period actually is done and I can really kill the gym again. I just feel so upbeat and proud of myself which is something that I haven't felt in a really long time. Maybe that's the biggest high of them all!
