I keep thinking of that quote on my calendar at work that says, "adaptation is sweet change". So, yesterday I retired 2 shirts from the closet and a few other items because they're just too big at this time. I actually have 2 other shirts in the same style, but at a size smaller size 14/16. I'm wearing one right now. The shirts I retired were an 18-20, and pretty roomy when I bought them, but they're no longer flattering and the smaller version now fits fine with plenty of room around the belly. I'm attempting to approach "the clothes issue" in a completely different way this time around. I cannot tell you how much money I wasted (close to the $2000 mark) the last time around, buying clothes I grew out of not but a month later during my last big drop. I always said after that time, "if I had it to do over..." LOL.

Well, here we are...

I'm nearing the 180's and fortunately have some clothes that will get me through until I hit 175. At that point, I'm just going to stick with stretch pants (because they're cheap) and buying a few go-to shirts I know will work for my job and grit my teeth and bare through it until 150. I'm not about to waste money the way I did last time, but at least the clothes didn't go to waste. Those ended up going to a church charity and I was told came in to good use for people who needed them.

I also got a beautiful 8 HOURS OF SLEEP last night. My fit bit tells me I'm back to my "above average" normal. lol. Apparently, I come in above average for my age and gender for both REM and Deep sleep. And, yes I'm totally bragging. Sleep is about the only thing in my life I come in above average on! A girls gotta work with what she's got! LOL. Anywho, I made it through the night without one coughing spell, so I didn't have to take any mucinex. I think I'll wait to take my allergy medicine until after I workout today. But, if my sinuses continue to cooperate by Tuesday, I think I'll stop taking the claritin too.

And, of course if some don't know I hit a new low with a .6 lb loss from the last stated low and am now at a steady 192.0. Looks like my body decided to drop the 1.2 lbs of water I was holding on to. Today is the last day in my workout cycle before I get a break to recuperate. It's also going to be 96 degrees here today. I made 24 laps in the pool yesterday, I'm going to try and go for 28 today, which will make approximately a miles worth of swimming this weekend - not to shabby.

Have a wondeful day of rest, everyone!
