I have a funny idea that you may be preaching to the choir on that one....I am a young 70 and know exactly what you mean. But that loss is EXCELLENT!!!!

I'm 64 and seems like for the past three or four years my weight is creeping up and I'm eating less. I've been staying away from sugar and bread. Miss the sugar more than bread.

I once missed them both too but after a couple of years of neither...I can honestly say that I don't miss them. I still indulge in dark chocolate from time to time but no other sweets and absolutely no bread, crackers, etc. Of course, after saying this I will probably have a huge craving for both:)

Weekends are hardest for me. We go out with friends and my teenage granddaughters make it difficult to stay away from the bread and sugar when they are with me. As you can see on my food diary for Friday and Saturday. It's hard to eat any healthy food at a theme park. I do so good during the week.
