Gained a bit more, so frustrated. Not sure what I can do to lose any more. I’m eating healthy and within my calorie range. Maybe I should lower that? It doesn’t help though that I hurt my knee. This past Thursday I tried an Insanity workout at my community center. It was tough but I made it through. Later that day my knee started bothering me. Hurt when I walked and randomly gave out if I was standing. Was on it a lot on Friday and Saturday too. Finally went in on Saturday evening and have some x-rays done and talked to an orthopedist. He said the ligaments and tendons were likely strained and that time and light walking would help, but to stay away from heavy workouts. It’s still too painful to walk a lot, so I’m trying to think of different ways to get some exercise in.

Surrogacy update: I can’t really go any further in the process until the end of August. I have to be off my anti-depressants for 3 months and have a doctor say I’m doing all right before we can move forward. I knew that part, but I was under the impression that I could still get stuff done while I waited. Wanted to do the background check, home visit, psych eval, etc, done before Sept so that once I was cleared by my Dr., we could go ahead with trying to match with Intended Parents. Oh well, I’ll just enjoy my summer and focus on losing weight.
