jewels67's Journal, 12 February 2010

I need to get more sleep and de-stress a little during the week. Because when I wake up at 7 a.m. and stay up until 3 or 4 a.m. two to three nights a week, I tend to forget about making healthy food choices and just binge through the early morning hours.

Unhealthy.

I'm also having trouble finding the time to work out during the week since I'm completely booked Wednesday-Friday.

I need help!

I understand your pain of trying to find time to work out. I go to college full time and I work full time. It's hell. What I do is go to bed at a decent hour (when I can) and I wake up about 30 mins earlier than normal. It's nice to be able to work out in the mornings. It's like a jump start to your day! Sure, the idea does not sound appealing first thing in the morning...but if you just kick your butt through the 3 minutes of mental procrastination you'll feel just fine once you actually start working out. I have in home exercise equipment because I do not have the time to go to a gym. It's a lot more convenient that way. Also, if you couldn't get to bed on time and you left your workout until the evening time....even if you only workout for 20 minutes it's better than not working out at all. Hope this helped some! Good Luck! :)
