Some motivation of just how amazing our bodies can be!
On Thursday my official weight was recorded at 102.4kg and I ate alot of food : 5 sausages, 4 fried eggs, green banana curry, about 300g of rice, chicken curry with potatoes, my oats snack consisting of oats, flax seed, chia seeds and peanuts. Then after supper I had some cake and trifle. My weight went up to 104.6kg on Friday morning. I am happy to say that this morning(Saturday) my weight is back to 102.4kg :D
Now that sounds miraculous but take note that I've been trying to up my fibre intake by adding the flax seeds to my oats/chia seeds snack for a few weeks now and on Thursday my body released alot of solid waste which was adding to my overall weight. On the scale it looks like I ate tons of food and lost the weight I gained after doing so but in reality there's the waste factor that also plays a role on the scale which is why I don't take the scale as the only method to monitor my progress.
Now to enjoy my weekend because I love my weekends!! :)
