**Confession: I never eat hummus before... talked about it with a coworker yesterday and she made me some. I tried it and love it, she made it so well!**
I need to take it easy after indulging and giving myself excuses... other perople's b-days should not have any bad impact on me... so... I am determined to focus on having veggie snacks and fruits this week, eat humus and slow down with sweets. Attending gym every 2nd day is on schedule as well. So far, so good!

Hummus is delicious, filling and satisfying--and healthy! I need to get some myself. I made it a few times with lots of lemon and mint. Delicious. Have a good, veggie-filled day.

There was a time when very few people in the West knew about Hummus, now it's everywhere. It is extremely easy to make and you should learn how to do it if you like it that much. It won't take you ten minutes. You might want to spend some time exploring the food of the middle east which is really spectacular. Maybe go to the restaurants and then, at home, reverse engineer the recipes you like using the net. The chickpeas (garbanzo beans) in hummus have quite a few calories, but like avocado, how can these things not be good for us? If you like Hummus, you may also like Baba Ghanoush. info.. I actually love the middle east food... I can't handle nothing spicy, but do like it! My best-friend from childhood was Lebanese and I tried a few different things, just never knew the name lol.. as kids don't care! :) I have this girl at work and she is from that area too.. so now she names it all for me and makes me try some foods... mmm m mmm! I asked her about Baba Ghanoush... she said hummus & that are always on her table as appetizers. Yummi & healthy I betcha! (p.s. are you from middle-east?... since I might never see a pic of yours.. :( .... )

Yes, almost all their food is very healthy. To tell you the truth, I really love it. You can take a pita bread, cut it in half to make a pocket, fill it with sliced lettuce, chopped tomato, a little cucumber, and some falafel (bought in a deli or you can make it yorself too). On top you can put hummus, it's really good. To the last question, no.

Thank you Glen. I do enjoy it! Info.. lol... I love pita-bread, however, the calories in one are very high and I am trying to stay away from it... because I get hooked on it and it can be bad! lol I love falafel too.. now that you said put hummus on it mmm lol I am in heaven... lol -mysterious man- !! :P
