Olivia70's Journal, 03 February 2012

I weighed 116.6 yesterday afternoon, and I am recording it. I've decided to record only my lows officially on FS. It keeps me more motivated than seeing a chart showing a little fluctuation. If I am stalled for an amount of time, I can go to the in-between dates on my diet calendar and see what I was doing.

I am excited because this means I have officially lost about 8 lbs, which translates to 2 lbs a week. This is as much as I would have lost on WW, but so much more sustainable.

Diet Calendar Entries for 03 February 2012:

I agree when these small fluctuations really don't mean much. Maybe I didn't get enough water in that day. It has trended so that whatever that low is that I see, it gets back to it eventually. I put in the part lbs because that is what my scale shows, but I round it up or down when I'm figuring how much I've lost.

Congrats on the weight loss Olivia! I too have done WW and I feel that counting my calories and paying attention to the fat/protein/carbs will be way more sustainable for me (I actually wrote about that in my journal at length this morning). Keep up the good work!

Thanks, Gabbie. I will look at your Calorie Count for sure. I'm on my 5th week of Atkins today, and I believe my body has stabilized to a point where I am feeling full on less calories than what the RDI on FatSecret says, and that has been fine with me because I'm sure once I am maintaining, watching my calories will be much more important.
