This is actually for Friday 21st April but it won't let me enter it for that... not an Australian ap and doesn't compensate for time differences.

Today woke up feeling slim and recorded waist lot smaller (using my precut string!!) weighed myself well-hydrated after several glasses of water and going for pees later!! Was 72.5. Definitely losing it now. I have been losing fat and putting on muscle after all the swimming which has been a change of shape but no result on the scales which were all over the place which I was finding a bit discouraging. So I did 2 things: took my waist measurement and hop measurement with a 2 pieces of string which I cut to length and hung over a hook to use regularly. (That is what I have recorded the waist improvement against). I also gave up the grog completely. Always tempted to have too many glasses and have realised what empty calories they are when I am trying to lose weight. Only drinking will be social occasionally for next few weeks. This is involving will power and effort to distract myself (live on my own) between the hours of 5 and 7 - the 'wining hour'!! So far so good but not easy those 2 hours. You feel lonely at that time of day when living alone. I go for a walk or a drive or have a veggie juice making ritual.

I have definitely put on a lot of muscle so I feel my real loss is something like 3 kg. I wish I had measured my weight and dimensions a the outset. I was getting very bloated around the area just under the ribs which I what I hated so much.
