BLAH!! It's been three days since I have recorded a weigh in. I guess I am flucuating a little bit right now (not TOM) and am up a pound. Is it wrong that I don't want to log that? LOL I just need to look at how well i've been doing this month and not stress. But it still gives you a grrr moment when you stand on that scale. My hunger has spiked too and I could eat everything in sight. Need to really watch that.

I think you should log fluctuations like that only if they help you. If it's a few days, it might help to log it so it becomes more real in your head. Something that helps me is to look at other people's histories. Most people don't have a smooth line going down--it goes up and down like a wave moving downward. Everyone has those bad days or bad weeks. The important thing is making sure you don't get caught in a cycle of beating yourself up.

You are doing a great job, I wouldn't log them either, unless, like beets said, they help you. Its very normal to have little ups, especially since you have been having lots of downs. Dont let it get to you too much, I am trying to not let the little ups get to me as long as they eventually go down farther than they were. U know what to do and how to do it, just keep on keeping on. Have the GRRRR moment and know that its just that, a moment!!

Thank you ladies! I decided to add some weights to my step Wii workout today which really got me going. I hope that either A) I see a loss tomorrow, or B) I lose an inch off my belly. You are right Wintergirl, it IS just a moment and I called it out and worked harder today. Thanks you guys!

Do you weigh yourself everyday? Does this help you to stay on track? I feel like when I get on the scale everyday, my mood depends on the number and sometimes it is up from other things like water retaining and whatnot...I don't like that feeling. Maybe you'll feel less frustrated if you only weigh in once a week?

I think once a week would drive me nuts! lol I am all about instant gratification, so I try to not weigh every day but only if I have a BM first thing in the morning. Those grr moments don't happen too often, I just need to keep looking at the big picture and that I have lost a bunch already.

Wintergirl is so right! It's a MOMENT. Lol re BM. It's hard when you are focusing on those little ups and down to step back and look at it BIG PICTURE. And sometimes it takes a few days for the body to catch up with whatever we're doing. Not to be too gross but I seemed to get jammed up when I suddenly start eating too many veggies. Fiber is good but too much of a good thing can work against you.
