I'm not going to even try to book my values for today. It was Tony's birthday, so we went to Ikea for some rugs and candles and then to a really nice pub - The Royal Oak at South Ockenden -my day's food is:
1/2 pint Adnams Ghost Ship Beer Steak and Kidney (or in Oldham Snake and Pygmy - no offence meant to any pygmys' reading this) pudding, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables and gravy. Spotted Dick and Custard.
Then, as I'm not used to the bulk anymore, a sudden stop at some services for the loo (I couldn't find my Radar key to begin with - what a panic!!)
Then to Purfleet so that himself could go and look at the Thames - oh and we also took in 2 churches - South Ockenden which he couldn't get in and Aveley which he could. I just drive and sit in the car when he sees most churches - not many are wheelchair friendly (plus I'm idle). If ever you want a white knuckle ride just have someone push you over either cobblestones or up and down paving stones - frightening.
Home now - tired - relieved my sister-in-law who spent the day here with her Ma, she's set off home now and we're back in charge.
The TV programme I can hear in the sitting room (where m-i-l is) is about sick animals. Mainly farm animals. It's not helping my digestion.
I wish I could put up a picture of today's socks - I usually wear stripy over the knee ones when I go out - these have some glow in the dark stripes. Bazzing
