RenaissanceWoman's Journal, 20 January 2017

The human body can be exasperating! I dieted my little heart out for three months, losing about fourteen pounds. Then, on January 5th I had to go out of town for ten days. I ate at restaurants, and I'll admit, I didn't try as hard as I could have to stick to the diet. I didn't go overboard, either (okay, one Chinese Buffet, but I had lots of unbreaded fish, sushi and soup). We drank a bottle of rum over the course of the holiday (between two of us), and I had a couple of coolers. Nothing seriously off course like fried chicken and ice cream every day.

Yes, I expected a weight gain... Of COURSE I expected a weight gain. But fourteen pounds in ten days? WTF? Three months to lose 14 pounds, ten days to gain it back. I've lost about three of those pounds since returning on Tuesday, so part of it was water, but really...

I'll get back on track, though. Hopefully the weight will come off fast.
214.5 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 64.5 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 2.7 lb a week

depending on your woe - going off plan can result in inflammation as well as water weight; you can get back on the wagon and learn from your adventure !!!!
