Printed up a fitness schedule today. Planning 8 weeks to build up to running 5 km in a half decent time. The first day, briskly walk 1km (10'35") then run 1 km (8'08"). I'm not sure how accurate those times are. My GPS tracker seemed to be confused by the small oval track I was on. It drew some ovals as triangles. I think the next run will have to be timed on a straight route, perhaps along the riverside, to get an accurate time. Pictures are of the new swimming pool next to my house that I went to yesterday. I'll be going there every week.

When I started running, I would run until I was just about out of breath, then walk until I caught it again, then run. I alternated like that for about 3 weeks until I got to where I could run a 5k.
