Prairie Grandma's Journal, 13 January 2017

I can't believe it's been nearly a year since I signed in and continued my fitness journey! I have all the excuses in the world, but it all points to me putting others before me, leaving me in a position where I didn't take care of the most important person - me. The gain I have experienced is one of a low self-esteem, purposefully ignoring all my own self-love. I'm naughty and I know it. So, back to entering and walking program today, "kitchen closed at 7 pm", "two bite snack plan" (2 bites then I have to drink one full glass of water, if wanting more it's two bites and another full glass of water - and I hate water!)
Today is the first day of the rest of my life, and I need to make it a good one!
