I'm trying something different in my WOE in hopes it will help to break some of the bad habits I've picked up in the last couple of months. I have to stop snacking so much and have my meals be my main source of food. I haven't had ice cream in a couple of weeks now and I'm starting to not miss it so much.
I see my ankle Dr tomorrow and hope to get this cast off, of course he will replace it with a boot but at least maybe it will rub in different places and I hope to be able to take it off to shower and sleep. I've known other people in boots and that's what they did of course they had a broken bone not a repair for a torn tendon so I'll have to wait and see. Wish me luck.
To me: As I'm restarting my WOE I will work hard one day at a time. I know I can do this I just have to have and keep the right mind set.

Oh, you had a repaired tendon! That sounds awful. Yes, the boot will be easier for you. Hope Marcel and Dyna are well. You are lucky to be in AZ - it is snowing like crazy here!

I'm in the desert part and it's been a warm winter so far but sometimes I miss a little snow. My Dr said it would be a boot from the knee down but right now I really want to see the incision it still really hurts and I don't think it should although I've been told I could have some swelling and pain for a year. Marcel still isn't too fond of Dyna and she still try's to get him to play.

I wish you speedy healing Addie. I am doing the same thing Addie ... I have lots of bad habits that I face head on everyday. It's work but as time goes on the healthier ones I pick up should become natural after a while. Hugs!
