December 4th entry here, a bit late I know but today was very, very busy!

I spent the night at WB's, so I woke up at his place-- which is gloriously free of temptations for me. Breakfast was skipped, more out of a lack of hunger than anything, which to me says I'm on the right track. Finally, I'm starting to listen to my body and stop eating when I'm full. That, I think, is the most valuable thing I've learned to do since the start of my diet.

We spent a few hours this morning cuddling in his bed watching TV, which was a nice, relaxing way to spend a Sunday morning. While staying in bed with WB doesn't burn that many calories (at least, not this morning *wink*), it's really nice to be able to cuddle up into his chest--I can't even imagine how nice it'll be when I've slimmed down!

He's a sweetheart-- he made it clear this evening that while he likes the way I look, he supports me doing whatever makes me feel good, a type of support that I really appreciate. I'm losing this weight, after all, not for him but for me. Still, it's nice to have his support.

I had an earlier lunch today after WB took me back to school. We sat together, but he had eaten some chicken at his place, so I was the only one who ate. I tried to keep myself to a healthier menu by pre-planning what I was going to choose and picking a smaller plate, and I think it was fairly helpful. Some things that I had, like the salmon salad, don't really have a caloric equivalent on FatSecret. This is still one of the biggest issues I have with how this website is designed-- it seems nigh on impossible to catalog foods that are prepared either by me or at my college dining hall. Well, I suppose no system is perfect. I'll just have to do my best, and remember that the kind of food I'm eating is more important than the number of calories in it.

After lunch, I walked WB back to his car, then headed back to my room, where I ran into Roomie. She had a very eventful night-- BFG, the guy I set her up with, had stayed over until 5 am that day, so she was quite tired! Not for any fun reason, unfortunately! Although...they did share their first kiss, which is pretty exciting now that I think about it. BFG is really cute and really tall (he even towers over me!) so I'm glad Roomie got some. They both seem really happy, kind of like WB and me.

After I weighed myself for the day, Roomie, Babygirl (my best friend and across-the-hall neighbor), and me decided to go to the mall. At first I wasn't planning on going, but I wanted a chance to pick up a few groceries (Babygirl was planning on heading to the grocery store afterwards), so I asked to tag along. Our first stop was the mall, where we grabbed a penis-shaped cake mold (thank you, Spencer's!) for Babygirl to bake our other friend's birthday cake in. Nothing like a dick shaped cake to brighten up your 19th birthday, right??

Anyways.

At the mall, we also ran into BFG (he works there) and WB's little sister (she also works at the mall, but in a different store)...what're the odds? I got a call from one of the other students in my freshman orientation class because I had completely forgotten about our required meeting today. Roomie and Babygirl wanted to go get some food and continue their day, so I called WB and, as luck would have it, he was parked in the exact same parking lot!

The parking lot in question was situated between the fast food place Roomie and Babygirl went to and the place where he was (apparently) shopping for my birthday present! Talk about serendipity. It's almost like the universe wanted us to meet up...although I don't really believe in that stuff lol.

Well, WB drove me back to school, where I was able to meet up with my group and apologize for being late. I miiiiight have lied a tiny bit as to why I was late, but chances are they'll never know. Hopefully.

Pretty please?

In the end, we printed off 200 zines for our big festival on Tuesday, so I think we did a pretty good job. I was in charge of the 2nd floor printer, which was kind of boring, but not that bad. I mostly just waited for copies to print, then separated them and brought them to the staplers. That, and refilled paper and toner. Not the most exciting job, but overall an important one. Plus, I could just plug in my headphones and listen to music for like seven hours, which was nice. Recently I've been getting into The Dear Hunter, which is thanks to WB and his insistence that I would enjoy their music. Well, dear friends, for once he won! I've been really enjoying Act II so far, and simply must recommend it.

It'll be nice to see some of my poetry in print, even if it is just in a student produced zine. There's something so nice about seeing words I've written printed in black ink. Ahh, the miracles of printing.

I ate pizza for dinner...yes, I know. It was a Bad Thing. But how do you turn down free pizza? Our TA (who I'll probably just call TA from now on) ordered Domino's, and even though I wasn't hungry I ate nearly three slices! Wow! I need to learn a bit more self control... and to think how I was bragging at the beginning of this journal! Oh well, tomorrow is a new day.

After my freshman orientation class was finished, I ran back to the dorms (well, walked quickly, but it was raining) to join up with my honors group to work on our research project. We ended up doing more gossiping and talking politics than actual work, but we did get a lot done. It wasn't until about 11:30 pm that I was able to get away and hang out with WB. We went to the local grocery store, where I got some coconut flour and sugar, along with a pint of that Halo icecream. Man, is that stuff expensive! But it is so worth it, and they didn't even pay me to say that. (But if they wanted to, I am totally for sale...give me that dirty ice cream money) I chose mint chocolate chip, which is a personal favorite flavor, and ate nearly the whole thing all by myself! Good thing a pint is less than 300 calories, and that WB is more than willing to eat some ice cream for the team.

That about sums up my day, and I feel bad keeping my laptop screen on when WB is right next to me trying to get some sleep, so I think I'll sign off for the night.

Best of luck to all of y'all,
