I have decided to hide my scale. It has become almost an addiction to weigh myself everyday and sometimes more than once a day. So, I am going to continue to eat better, workout, and weigh myself no more than once a week maybe even once a month. I am going to learn to be happy with myself and my body no matter what the scale says.

That is a great idea, what is important is to pay attention to the process not the result, if you follow the process correctly the result will be a logical consequence. I congratulate you on such an intelligent idea.

Good plan! It is amazing how a gain or loss reading on the scale can effect our moods. If my clothes feel better and my knees hurt less, I know I am doing something right, and if I have noose waist and my shirt does not button, I know I am not being careful. Love yourself and your body is great advice for one and all!

Good idea. I have been there and it can be both encouraging and discouraging. You have lost weight consistently and have managed to keep it off. BE HAPPY and ENJOY YOUR LIFE!!

I think I'm a bit different. I think weighing myself every day lets me take this random upward fluctuations in stride and let's me see what trend my mass is really taking. I'm a numbers person not a "feelings" person, though.
