For lunch today I tried many new things...I ate purple lettuce, lettuce that looked like weeds that grow in my yard, dried cranberries, and feta cheese and to my surprise I actually liked it all.

That's my favorite salad! I also like to add either an apple or nectarine and grilled chicken for protein. I also use a blueberry/pomegranate vinaigrette made by Life House. Usually I cut up only half of the apple or nectarine and then have the other half for "dessert". Good stuff :)

Good for you for trying new things, Kira. The salad you described totally sounds like "normal" California fare! We eat weeds out of our yards all the time, LOL!
