Today was a pleasant surprise with a 1.9 lbs drop! I know the first week or so on Keto results in a lot of water weight lost but I'll take it.

I had a long weekend...took Monday off to be with my kiddos for Fall Break. Really nice to just relax, even if we did spend a few hours doing some much needed deep cleaning. But today is back to work (and classes) for me. I work full-time and go to school full-time as well and yes, I'm quite sure my cortisol levels are high. That could prove to be a challenge going forward because my body gets super resistant to weight loss when it is stressed. Never considered myself a stress eater but this semester finds me thinking about food (and occasionally eating bad things) more than usual!

The good news is that lunch is already packed (salmon Alfredo over spaghetti squash w/ side of broccoli...gotta love leftovers). My goal for today is to get all my water in. Always seems difficult when I have back-to-back meetings.
