You have just convinced me to never buy that scale :) At the moment my Clicks-bought bathroom scale is not to nasty to me.

Those scales are not accurate at all. They work by sending an electric current through your body and depending on how much water you have in your body, it calculates fat percentage but its flaw is that it does not take into consideration the size of organs, size of bones, quantity of blood, etc. Dont stress about BMI. Just use a scale for weight. The best way to measure bodyfat is by using calipers.

Big boy what's calipers now. This is getting too complicated. Thanks though I welcome all the advice and encouragement.

Body fat calipers is a measurement tool that is used to measure your body fat. Just google an image of "body fat calipers" and you can also google a video to see how it is done. Link don't always work on comments but here is a link : http://www.bodybuilding.com/content/how-to-measure-your-body-fat.html

Dont stress, I have never used body fat calipers in my life as yet to measure body fat. I just use a tape measure and measure my tummy, thighs, arms and chest. Just monitoring your weight on a scale and keeping track of your measurements with a tape measure is the easiest way to monitor it all.
