I worked out hard this week and stuck to my meal plan reasonably well. I weighed in today. I lost 1 lb. I was hoping it was more, but this is only the beginning. I am still motivated. I am determined not to quit this time. My body hurts! My husband keeps saying, "No pain, no gain". I will weigh in again in another week.

Muscle weighs more than fat, so that could be it. At first I wasn't seeing much weight loss, so I was searching through everyone's diet calendar wondering what I was doing wrong. But when I measured my waist I went from 44' to 42 1/2. Maybe you should try inches lost as well.

I agree with Razzle_n_dazzle - check that measuring tape. Hats off to you for staying motivated.
