Intermittent Fasting on a 5 normal, 2 fast days per week has been extremely easy for me. Quite surprisingly so. I am also adjusting my eating to begin after 11 in the morning which is a normal rhythm for me anyway. I'm generally just not hungry in the morning.

I am trying to shut my eating down by 3 hours before bedtime. I was beginning to experience acid reflux which I understand can be cause by eating too heavy, too late and laying down.

My energy level hasn't changed a bit and I've learned it's mostly been "in my head" that I'm hungry and weak if I haven't eaten. I'm learning the difference between real hunger and mouth hunger/boredom hunger.

I've lost 11.6 pounds in almost a month. My energy is up. My joint pain etc. is down significantly.

I am exercising heavy yard work 1 to 1 1/2 hours per day every other day or so. Sometimes more. I garden 1/2 acre of veggie garden, organic, heavy composting and mulching. Hauling materials, turning compost piles etc. estimated 400 calories an hour.

The 24 hour fasts are absolutely no big deal - that blows me away!!! I fast Monday 11 am to Tuesday 11 am. Split normal calories between the two days, average 500 Monday and 1500 Tuesday. 1850-2000 calories the rest of the days so I'm literally never uncomfortable or hungry.

Plan is for a complete year to reach goal weight of 160-165 lbs.
