Last day of May. First day back from my month long vacation. Its nice to be back on line and reading all of the posts that I've missed during my absence. I've never been away for so long. Probably won't do it again before I retire. I took a vacation from my eating plan from the 15th of May through yesterday. I haven't weighed in yet, by I'm sure I gained some carb-o-licious pounds. However, I'm just as sure that It's mostly water and I'll get it off in a couple of weeks. I haven't outgrown any of my clothes, so its all good. Being honest with myself, I know that in order to maintain a healthy weight, I can't stay on plan 365 days a year. I'm going to have to give myself some breaks from strict maintenance every once in a while. I plan to occasionally eat and drink what I want and let the weight slide up a few pounds. Then go back on plan and take it back off. I figure that if I stay on plan 90 percent of the time, my health and weight will stay where I want them and my happiness quotient will stay high. As long as I'm wearing 34" waist jeans, I'm a happy camper. Anyway, its great to be home, I missed all your great posts. I hope y'all have a wonderful, post-holiday, short week.
