Hi Everyone,

Well second time around since I started I been sick very hard and feel terrible that I can't do my daily walk. My nose is all stuffed up very hard to walk.

So I been doing good lost 25 lbs and only 18 more to go to get to my first goal of 250 my overall goal is to be under 200 but small goals work for me.

like I said been doing pretty good.

over all I been replacing my breakfast and lunch with shakes and smoothies monday to Friday. I do eat lunch when work provides free lunch here and there not often but when it does happen i make sure to take advantage ;-)

i walk everyday when I'm not sick 2 to 3 miles. I've noticed that my speed is increasing. I started at 3.1 MPH and now I'm up to 3.5 MPH. Hopefully soon I will start jogging.

I cut back on carbs. i still eat carbs but not as much as I used to. For example when I go to Costco I still get the polish dog but instead of eating the whole thing I take half of the bread off and just eat it with one piece of bread and not the whole thing. prior to this I used to get the polish dog and a slice of pizza so that was a lot of carbs...

So it's working let's see how it continues just hope I stop getting sick with colds It slows down everythig and I don't want to go back to my old habits.

oh yea this is the best part of this whole thing. my clothes are starting to fit again. I did take my measurements when I first started my stomach was at 53 inches I am now at 50.... 3 inches lost around my stomach... YEAAAAA!!!

the proof is in the putting ;-) See everyone has different opinions some say it's bad some say it's good. I say do what's working for you. I met a friend recently who is a raw vegan. She did everything to loose weight she was close to 300 lbs at one point when she decided to go raw vegan she says that yes smoothies will have sugar but that sugar gets processed faster then other sugar and it won't stay in your body like everything else there's bad carbs and good carbs I assume there's good sugars and bad sugars as well. She has been raw vegan for four years she now weighs 145 that's about 1/2 her self before she started eating smoothies, fruit and vegies.. so I say as long as I'm loosing the weight and I feel better then I have in a long time. Why not.. I don't think I can do the vegan or vegetarian route seeing that I love to eat meat but why not in corporate it 1/2 or even 1/3 into my lifestyle. I will get my check up and see how my body is doing in a couple of months. I've already talked to my doctor and told him what i was doing and he gave me to thumbs up and told me to continue to do what I was doing and to check in so I will....
