It is drizzly rainy and cold outside. Yuck! GoodMan has left for his men's bible study so I will do my workout on the elliptical while he's gone. My elliptical is in the same room as his computer. Normally that would not be a problem, but he is on sabbatical right now so he is home all day. He loves to be outside, but on a rainy day like today he'll be on his computer as soon as he gets home.

I have a busy couple of days coming up. This evening we have a meeting of our small group. They always serve goodies. It has not been too big of a challenge because we meet right after dinner so I'm not usually hungry. I will have to come up with a plan for a light snack when we get home because by that time I'm usually getting really hungry.

Thursday DIL#5 and two grandsons want to take us out to dinner. I have no idea where we are going so it is hard to plan ahead. I will try to eat some veggies and hummus before they get here so I won't be too hungry to make good choices.

Friday GoodMan and I are heading to Sault Sainte Marie (4 1/2 hours away) to visit DS#1's family. Our 17th grandchild is a Star Wars baby - born May the fourth last year. We are going up there to celebrate his birthday and take the family to dinner and swimming at the hotel pool. Two of their boys are autistic so we leave the choice of restaurants up to the parents since they have a better idea of what works for their family. I will pack a cooler with healthy options for us to eat on the way up and back down again.

So much of this healthstyle is just making it work around all the other things going on...and if it doesn't work for some reason, to just get back on it as soon as I can.
