Whoa- I am pretty sure it's the Nicoderm patch but I think this diet contributed. WACKY ZANY VIVID WEIRD DREAMS! I typically don't remember my dreams, so this was weird- anyone else have bizarre dreams after changing their diet?

I am at my friend Nicole (mom of two little boys- she's one of my "grown-up friends"). In the dream, it is a glamorous penthouse apartment and aquarium for exotic fish. Schooly D is also there (I actually know his wife). Nicole serves me and my friend Michael a HUGE hamburger covered in yellow cheese, and cheese fries with gravy and I gluttonously eat the whole thing. Then she hires me as her butler, but my tuxedo rips and I have to mend it myself in a women's bathroom stall while a woman with a baby stroller is trying to get in.

Funny thing is I woke up feeling so full, I had to force down breakfast. Now that I think of it, the fullness might also have something to do with the cleanse I am doing (without going into too much or ANY detail).

Yesterday went well- new diet and not smoking. Today, we add exercise. Since I am too poor for a gym and don't have the space for weights (nor can I travel with them), I bought a high level resistance band, did some research, and re-tooled the Abs Diet workout so I can use the band instead of weights. I am about to go try it out, but I think the substitutions will be spot-on. I may find I need to up the reps because the band is less intense that the weights that I was lifting when I was rich and skinny and had a gym membership.

The six meals a day thing is kind of tough- following the book, it is so much food. I think I might scale down my portions a teensy bit. I don't want to go too far below my RDI, but I am worried I'll start skipping the snacks and go back to larger meals... something to keep an eye on.

Enjoyed my walk yesterday except that I ended up having to pee- like really bad, and had to stop at a Dunkin Donuts. I hate using a restroom without buying something, so I got a small iced coffee.

If any one is reading this, I am having a Muppet-y day, and challenge you to channel your inner Muppet.

POST WORKOUT:
Enjoying a whey protein smoothie. Band work out circuit training was great HOWEVER if you do this, make sure you have a secure band and a solid door in which to secure it. I have two HUGE welts on my chest from when the door opened and the friggen' elastic snapped me in the man-boobs. Even if I CAN take my shirt off at the beach this summer, it ain't gonna be pretty if i've got massive scars from my workout... but all in all I feel awesome.
