woohoo! finally, some progress! also had the dreaded chat with my dad this morning, which went better than expected (although not as well as i'd hoped). he's agreed he has a problem, but won't go to the clinic. we are going to see the doctor on monday, though. so that is a good starting point. and he's offering to try quit drinking over the next week. i personally don't think he'll be successful, in which case i will bring up the rehab option again.
101.6 lb Lost so far: 13.0 lb.    Still to go: 2.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
