Its a brand new month ...full of possibilities and many lessons to be learnt. I had wanted to start the 5:2 meal plan this month but think I will rather try that next month. For now, my 5 goals for this month:
- finally get under the 80kg barrier, weigh -in once a week
- exercise 4 times a week
- consume on average 1200-1300 calories a day and once a week try 800-900 calories in preparation for next months 5:2 meal plan
- drink more water and record EVERYTHING I eat no matter how bad
- not to be too hard on myself, not to compare my journey to someone else's, remember to take it a day at a time and to celebrate every small victory e.g. each kg lost
I have a feeling...April is going to be a good good month:-)

You are doing brilliantly! When I started 5:2, it helped to skip breakfast and eat lunch a bit earlier. To replace the breakfast habit, I had a cup of good black coffee or an Americano without milk. It is amazing how easy it was to adapt! Best of luck!

I also started in a similar way by trying to eat a maximum daily limit of 1800 calories everyday to get used to eating to a limit and learn about various foods and their calorie content. Its a good foundation to build your 5:2 on. Try to also follow the rules of 16:8 as it works hand in hand with 5:2.
