Well - I gained over the weekend birthday celebration due to the carbs. I expect it is water weight. I'm still down 6 lbs overall and know by refocusing, the extra water will drop. I was pleased that it was just a couple of pounds - so I have truly 'lost' some pounds. So yesterday I was back to it 100%, today I'm giving it 100%, and plan to for the rest of the week. I know from prior experience my doctor said it takes about 3 days to get back into 'ketosis'. So I look forward to recording weight on Wednedsay!

Being extra good, drinking lots of water! Got invited to a great Challenge by Jsfantome, and accepted. Fatsecret every day for ten weeks. Lord knows this will keep my honest and focused on my goal.

I will not give up. I will not be defeated. This is what I want for life. One (ok two) meal(s) of indulgence doesn't have to mean slipping back into a lifetime of poor eating. I want to be a lifetime good eater, where eating healthy is the rule and not the exception.. with the occasional indulgence!

I can do this. Besides eating right is reward enough in and of itself. I feel better when I am eating well!
