So happy the scale moved, I was getting desperate! Thankfully, I started the Bodyflex system a week and a half ago and lost an overall amount of 27 inches. I am so psyched about that!

Diet Calendar Entry for 12 November 2009:

I have Greer's Shapely Secrets system, To be honest, I never really followed it because I did the workout once and could not see how it could possibly work. I guess I should give another try. My mom also used to have her original breathing tapes, we tried to do them, but it was so awkward that we just ended up laughing at each other. Since you are having such wonderful results doing it, I will give mine another shot. R u following the eating plan that comes with the program? And I just wanted to say, You are beautiful, I am glad that you finally put a photo up of yourself. I guess I should put one up too, I just do not have any recent ones. I have been avoiding the camera for a while now. I will see about taking one to post so everyone can see who they are talking too!! : )

Yes, it does work!! I lost over 120 inches in 3 months a few years back, but you know how it goes. I stopped doing the breathing and went right back to where I was. You should give it another go, I thought the same thing you thought at first, but was so intrigued that I had to try it. I started off in 2000 with the book, where you don't get it demonstrated but explained in full detail. I can only recommend it!! I just bought my weight loss buddy a used copy so she can try it too (she has the same reaction about it as you do). When you do the breathing you don't have to be as loud as Greer, she is doing that so everyone understands how things are supposed to feel like. When I exhale forcefully I do make the same noise, but not when I inhale after holding for 8-10 seconds. I just take a quick heavy breath and it has the same results. That may help lesson the 'weirdness' of it all. Also, the face exercises do work!! I know they look weird, but its only 4 minutes out of your day that you will pull faces like that. LOL Eating wise I do Weight Watchers just like you. You really don't have to change that because you are already eating healthy and moderately. You WILL feel so much more energized getting all that oxygen in, so don't be alarmed if you are a little light headed the first couple of days or start coughing. We all go through that. I am seriously thinking of adding a group here about Bodyflexing. I have done it so many times I can actually help out with questions. LOL Thank you about the pic! I just posted a pic yesterday that is more current at my heaviest in one of the forums. I hate looking at it, but my default pic was taken 2 years ago and I am not too far off from that weight. It keeps me going. *HUGS* Let me know how you are doing on it!
