Having successfully eliminated alcohol from my diet, I'm going to try to follow the paleo diet. It eliminates dairy, potatoes, corn and bread. It does have bread substitutes, but you have to make it yourself from nonwheat flours. That means you don't eat as much of it, but can still have a hamburger if you are motivated.
135.6 lb Lost so far: 0.6 lb.    Still to go: 12.6 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
losing 0.3 lb a week
