After losing four pounds the first week, I was a little disappointed to only lose one this week. I knew it would happen like that, but there was this tiny part of me that might of kinda hoped it would keep just "falling off" like it did at first. That's ok, the main thing here is that I lost another pound. This past week felt like such a lazy week. I just was not motivated to do anything. I even skipped my morning workouts Wednesday and Friday. I "binged" Thursday night, but still managed to stay under my calories (I usually eat around 1200, but my real limit is 1700, and I just ate sugary stuff instead of dinner). I even put off doing homework and paying my bills all week, so it wasn't just diet and exercise. I don't know what my deal was, but I'm sure this week will be better.

Yesterday, I went to a child's birthday party. I've been friends with the mother for years, and I forget she married into an Italian family. So much food! I got home and realized I didn't even have a clue where to start logging the calories. Since the party was in the middle of the day and I hadn't eaten breakfast and never got hungry for dinner, I just hoped it would somehow balance out. I have no self-control when there's tasty food laid out all over the place. I'll probably go a little over-board tonight for Super Bowl Sunday too, but if I keep working out and eat right the rest of the week, I don't think I'll do much damage. I hope. I may also be a little more aware tonight after eating too much yesterday.
