Donna Mashburn's Journal, 22 January 2016

Worked the 3rd shift last night. Got in bed at 8:30 and slept till the phone rang at 11:30 and then it was 30 min at a time. Was wide awake by 2pm; laid there till 2:30 and got up. Went and did a 30 mon TAE BO workout and spent 20 min punching the boxing bag. Made myself work out before I ate anything and that seemed to work well for me. Now I just need to keep up this routine until it becomes second nature. (Get up, put on work out clothes and go work out before I eat). If I wait till later in the day, when I actually feel better, there are a million things I want/need to do and the work outs seldom happen. That leads to guilty feelings every day. So....would I rather do the work outs and have a sense of accomplishment and pride or not do them and feel guilt....I've come to the point where I am realizing that I will not loose anymore weight unless I work it off. I read that a person is the average of the 5 people they spend the most time with--Made me take a look at who that might be. My husband counts for at least three people as we are always together, unless I'm at work. Every one else in just hit or miss. I need to find some people who are more interested in exercise and activities. Hmmm...

To Fitbit or not to Fitbit. That is the question.
