Scotchy's Journal, 17 August 2011

Man, it's really hard to stay structured in the summer - in all aspects of life!! Busy schedules, committments, spur of the moment hot dog roasts, bed time all over the place - I may welcome the routine of fall and the start of school. I am trying to make a better effort this week have started to jump on the tread mill while the kids are awake and in the same room. It's a lot of "don't touch the treadmill" and "stay back" but they've got it figured out pretty well. I've also decided it's good for them to see me keeping active. I just find it hard to want to run/exercise at 10 pm, or get up at 5 cause then the kids will too and they want brkfst ASAP. I'm finding 8 or 8:30 works good and in the fall I can likely keep that routine once the boys are on the bus @8. I may have to adjust that for playschool on Tuesdays, but that's just one day a week. Looking forward to seeing the weight drop again, and getting in to another size smaller and just plain feeling better!! Also looking forward to my friends on here keeping me motivated and vice versa! Yay!! ;)
