Did any of you have a fear/anxiety problem when hitting a goal? The last couple of days I'm really on edge. I have so much anxiety and fear that I will stop losing and will gain. I recently hit my 50 lb mark and I really DO NOT WANT TO GO BACKWARDS. I feel like I want to eat everything. I checked my calendar and saw that I have not had my salads as usual...probably due to a screwed up schedule. Tomorrow I will make an big effort to prepare salad fixings for the week. I do not know how to get rid of this anxiety.

I know it took me from the middle of January til the first week in July for my brain to finally tell me I wasn't on a diet anymore. That this was my eating way of life. That was the first day I wasn't nervous or anxious any more. That took almost seven months! Once your brain finally gets used to the idea, the thoughts of cheating and worries of gaining back just aren't there anymore. One day you wake up and are eating and you realize you are just eating and didn'y think of it as diet food anymore. That is the mind change, the big breakthrough! After that it's just eating like all the skinny people do.They don't worry about what they eat,and then you won't either.Counceling works too,but unless your councelor has had past issues with food and surpassed them, they may not fully relate to your problem.
