Sundays and Thursdays are 'fast' days.... sort of following the 5:2 eating habits eating a cross between paleo and flexitarian foods. This means no grains but will include legumes and milk for my tea and coffee. Our cows are grass fed so that is a bonus.
Fast days for me are around the 500 cal mark. I find water is a good hunger buster.

I am following my modified version of the 5:2 diet also, and have been since January. I try to keep my fast days to max of 450, but usually end up consuming somewhere in the 300 calories per fast day
