6 week report:
Hmm, more than a little disappointed in the scale number this morning. However, I believe the same thing happened this time last month. On the positive side, I am eating breakfast everyday. I haven't eaten white flour, white sugar or a sugared drink in 6 weeks. I feel great! I had blood work done for my upcoming meniscus repair and my fasting glucose was 92. Which is a definite improvement. Last few times it hung around 98 - 105. Most everything else was in normal range. Sodium slightly low and some slightly out of normal ranges within the red blood cells but count was fine. I think that is pointing to a bit of anemia which I seem to always deal with.

I feel full until its time to eat and I don't feel deprived. I seem to be able to find a healthy and yummy alternative each time I want something that might not be great for me. This week I ran out of my MRS and was happy when I got it back in on Thursday. Its been a great tool for my breakfast.

I am starting to work with a nutritionist to follow my food choices. I felt as if I needed some advice for protein amounts. She and my doctor have offered to follow my diary here on FS and I appreciate it. My migraines continue to be an issue, Protein doesn't seem to be the issue so I think i will look at magnesium.

So all in all, I am pleased with my efforts and the results even though I really wanted the scale to move down.

My surgery is Monday. Not sure what the upcoming week will bring but I am looking forward to becoming more physically active.

Finally, if you have read this far, I think I would like some buddies and not quite sure what the etiquette is. Can someone point me in the right direction here?

Thank you all for your input! I wish you all well.
Lorie
