Swam and walked today. Four of those meatballs were for Shasta. We’re trying to get 1000 calories a day into a picky eater, so i do what i gotta do for her. I did have a healthy serving of the cauliflower stir fry and i added Italian herbs and a little cheese to take it more towards risotto (it’s not risotto by any means) to pair with my meatballs. Shasta gobbled them all up, so i will call it a success.

Swim was okay. Olivia has been using the pool, and she played with the current’s speed because she likes it super fast so it tosses her around the pool. Great, unless you’re trying to swim in it. Was panting after my first 100, had to stop and reset. Even with a bunch of stops and starts, 854 strokes, heart rate all over the place, 8.8 METs due to all the stopping. Ugh. I did spend 5 minutes in the 150-160 range. Good times, good times.

So there you go. It started with a bear claw and ended with chicken meatballs and cauliflower “risotto” rice. And my hair is finally dry so we’re headed off to bed.

All I saw was bearclaw! LOL! I'm a sucker for sweets! So good to hear Shasta enjoyed the meatballs!
