I am a recently remarried mother of two daughters (ages 12 and 10). I am a full time employee and have been a full time student for 4 years. I quit smoking last year and have gained almost 20 lbs since. I recently saw 200 lbs on the scale and I can see bulges and rolls in places I've never had them before. I'm terrified of becoming so large that I cannot get control of my weight so I've decide it is time to do something now.
I hate "diets", pills, and shakes. I don't want some temporary fix. I want to lose the weight I have safely and naturally and I don't want to starve myself while I'm at it.
I love all kinds of food so eating health isn't really too much of a problem. I can do that and was doing it for a while. I stopped eating so much fried foods and watched what I ordered at restaraunts but I wasn't really paying attention to other aspects, like sweets and snacks. I gained another 5 lbs after that.
So here we are... My goal is to lose 4 lbs a month until my target weight of 150. That means 50 lbs to lose and a year to go...
