I am just so hungry today. Water is not cutting it. TOM is almost gone so I'm hoping when that is gone so are my cravings to eat EVERYTHING! Of course going to lunch and shopping at IKEA today didn't help. It was very hard to leave the store smelling those cinnamon buns and not stop. My normal pickup and delivery day was light so the three of us went there afterwards. I got a chicken breast and mixed veggies. I put extra butter on the chicken (was a little dry) and ate all the broccoli that came with it. Not my favorite place to low carb but it can be done. Next time chicken breast and a side salad with Cesar dressing. The dressing can go on the chicken and salad.

Sounds like a plan for sure. I don't know why we have those occasional "hungry" days. Some days I will wake up and just seem hungry all day...and on other days, I am not in the least bit hungry. Guess, the challenge is not to overindulge on those hungry days!

My carbs are a little over my norm. 26 carbs today instead of 20. I tried to add some fat into my food today but not even that helped. I finally gave in and had a small piece of dark chocolate and most of the hunger is gone. Water should be able to handle the rest (I hope) :)

Do you like v8? It is very low in calories and for me is quite filling. It is good on those,days when you are hungry or hungrier then usual and need something in between meals to offset hunger and or hunger pains.

I do like v8 but it's a little high in carbs. Usually I can grab something like celery/tomatoes/asparagus and get it in check. Just once in a while the beast comes out. Thank you for the suggestion though, I do usually have some in the house. It's great in beef veggie soup.

I am old school where diet ='s drastic reduction in my caloric intake. You might be very familiar with that era as well. It never dawns on me that there is a myriad of,diets where the caloric intake is not the primary focus, or the primary objective for losing weight. Perhaps today is just stuff your face day. While you have dealt with excessive hunger, I have dealt with excessive eating for know reason...not hunger, not emotions (I am not an emotional eater).......! I am beginning to wonder if the "universe" has deemed today as "stuff your face day" or die from hunger pains and just failed,to mark our calendars. UGH! Whatever the situation, it,is frustrating. Kudos for you for fighting your hunger pains. I just gave into my craving for food. Okay, I cannot procrastinate any longer. off I go to work out twice as long as usual. I have not given up at least burning off the extra calories. Good luck! You are doing great.

I'm from the era of lower calories and fat is bad. It took a lot to convince me that there is no one diet for all. And I still have to try and burn off some of the extra calories by extra walking. I can't help it. :) It could be the allergy medicine I'm taking or it's just stuff your face day. I think we all have them once in a while. I just tried not to give in to it too bad. I'm 4000 steps over my goal so far today and the day is not over.
