Doctor says I am insulin resistant. A1C is at 5.6 so I went to a nutritionist for advice. I have been working out every day for 4 weeks & eating about 1300 cals per day & not losing any weight, even though I also have a personal trainer advising me as well. It was very discouraging. My doctor said to go down to 1100 cals/day (like that is going to help!). So I sought out nutritionist--best decision I ever made. She said to quit tracking what I'm eating. The calories are not my problem--it's the food I am eating. She has me eating cashews for snacks (eat 5x per day!), 2C of lemon water upon rising. Protein breakfast within 1 hour of rising. Sweet potatoes & grass-fed cow butter with dinner, lots of cinnamon to help my blood sugar issues. She says my 227 chol reading is fine. I drank a pear-cucumber-mint drink for a treat which she encouraged. Organic food only...all natural everything & no sugar or gluten. I bought coconut oil, almond butter, cashews, organic chicken...so good!
158.6 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 13.6 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
