Today we did a mini hike our local canyon. My mom had Sadie so I decided to take the time to burn some energy with the two other four-legged maniacs in the house. Chance is a good boy, but such a puppy. Hogan would lead the pack, focused on the mission at hand. Chance, all over the place, including into the cactus. He'll learn. Might put a pack on him to see if it changes his perspective. He has learned to herd, finally, so expect the other genetic behaviors to fall into place at some point. Shasta had a great time as well. She likes to read the terrain with her nose and also to attack Chance from time to time and keep him in line.

some green surprises due to the rain. a wild iris, cactus flowers, dogs and canyon trails. I wore brand new hikers for the first time with no issues, so a good day!
